Fussball champions Darnadelle Malmstien and Violet von der Rage
triumphed
yet again in this year's New York Winter Fussball Open,
held Saturday Night
in the MacArthur Ballroom at the Waldorf-Astoria.
Malmstien and von der Rage and
defeated teams from across the state,
including the highly-ranked Malevelo
Brothers, Fussball champions
born in Essen, Germany who were granted expidited
citizenship this
past year in a effort to improve the U.S. National team
as the
Fussball World Cup qualifying matches approach. Darnadele and
Violet
dodged the press as they celebrated their victory with
an all-night bender. "They
obey me," von der Rage said when
asked how to explain her team's unprecendented
winning streak.
"The little men on the silver rod are my minions.
I command and
they obey. I say 'stop the ball', and the ball is stopped.
I say 'score
a goal', and a goal is scored. My hands are on the grips.
My men
are on the poles. I move. They move. We win. Viola."
